The main object of the present invention is to provide a regenerative braking system for a rotating component. The object of the present invention is to provide a system which substantially overcomes the one or more of the above mentioned disadvantages. Accordingly, there is a need for a device which assists the cyclist to start the cycle by saving the energy when brakes are applied and releasing it whenever required, The One of the outstanding existing such a device is flywheel regeneration - which works with noise and it is a heavy present embodiment which sometimes produces unbalanced forces when rotates at high speed in addition to a problem that it has more control levers for braking and force regeneration which becomes much difficult for the rider to control the cycle. There are many methods to assist the cyclist for starting the cycle with high initial force like: starting the cycle from a downhill slope - which provides sufficient force to the cycle as it travels downhill but it cannot be done all the time as the road surface from the beginning of journey will be different fi*om place to place or by using an electrical motor to assist - which is easy but heavy as this embodiment needs an acid battery and proper shielding from water in addition to a fact that it is little expensive or by any regeneration methods which stores the energy when the cycle brakes are applied. This is practically little difficult, but doable. But to start a cycle which is at rest, the crank of the cycle has to be given a force of 2 to 2.5 times the normal force required to maintain a constant speed \yhen the cycle is in motion. When the cycle is in motion, a small force is sufficient to keep it running. The rider has to use their feet and push the crank through the pedal. Bicycle is a two wheeled vehicle which runs on the effort of its rider, powered through its pedals. Resilient member that rotates the rotating component in unidirectional during wounding and untwining of the resilient member. The present embodiment relates to a regenerative braking system for a rotatingĬomponent and more particularly relates to the regenerative braking system which uses a
